Sporty and Sensible? That's the Honda Civic Si

Jumping right into today's headlines, we at San Leandro Honda would understand if you were to question the sporty and sensible combination of the Civic Si. In fact, as a proudly proclaimed Honda dealer, we realize that you're likely to take many of our opinions with a grain of salt; however this is the opinion of the known-to-be-unbiased team at AutoTrader.com.

Meet the minds who make a Honda a Honda

Few things in life get us more excited than the promise of a new car joining the ranks of our lineup here at Honda of San Leandro. Thanks to our favorite automaker, the excitement never stops. Although, as much as we can bend your ears over everything these highly-anticipated models have to offer, we only know so much about how they're put together.

The 2014 Honda Civic isn't Just for Young Whippersnapers

At San Leandro Honda we know how much brand loyalty is engrained in people when they think of purchasing a new car. That's why we are really impressed that Edythe Kirchmaier has decided to go with the Honda brand.

Why is she so important? Well, in her lifetime she's probably seen more car commercials than we can count. Here's a hint: the first car she drove was a Model T. If you are still doing a guesstimation of her age watch this video below.

Edythe has clearly seen a lot of automotive history and even though her…

Japan Announces Honda Fit as Best-Selling Car

Honda has made some incredible leaps and bounds here in the last month, both locally and abroad. Drivers in the greater Oakland area and beyond are singing the praises of our favorite Japanese automaker, and those shouts of joy have extended from coast to coast. But you don't have to take our word for it.

The automaker recently announced that the Honda Civic has recently overtaken another popular Japanese automaker's model as the…

The Honda Accord is officially the Best Use Coupe on the Market

As we mentioned a couple months ago, the Honda Accord truly is one of the best sedans under $25,000. While news like this doesn't exactly come as much of a surprise to us here at Honda of San Leandro, we will always jump at the opportunity to celebrate our new and used cars. And as much as we love our sedan of the hour, it's time we spread the love to its two-door sibling.

Neil Patrick Harris stars in the new Honda Odyssey Commercial

If there's one thing that never ceases to amaze us - aside from our new and used cars, of course - it's the recent revival of Neil Patrick Harris. Back in the '90s, we here at Honda of San Leandro figured he was doomed to be remembered as Doogie Howser for the rest of his days. Then, all of a sudden, he started stealing the spotlight in those Harold and Kumar movies and How I Met Your Mother, plus singing and dancing while hosting the Tony Awards with bells on.

Save Your Drive-In with some Help from Honda!

As much as we hate being the bearers of bad news here at Honda of San Leandro, America's in a crisis. In case you haven't heard, every major movie studio will be switching over from reel-to-reel to digital film at the start of 2014. While we welcome the upgrade in visual quality, this is terrible news for drive-ins: institutions that have always used reel-to-reel film.
