Driving safely in San Leandro is much easier when your car's tires are in good condition. Fortunately, there are many ways that you can tell that they need to be repaired or replaced. A common telltale sign is that a tire lacks sufficient tread.

To test a tire's tread, place a penny upside down in one of the grooves. If you can see the president's head, there is not enough tread left to safely drive. Another sign of damage could be a piece of debris sticking out of the tire itself. Debris could include a nail, gravel or anything else it has ran over.

If you notice a bulge in the tire, have it replaced immediately as is unlikely that you will be able to fix it on your own or fix it at all. The same is true for tires that have cuts or gouges in them.
