What is a lease inspection?

Lease inspections are typically completed by a third-party inspector. They are looking for any damage prior to the vehicle being returned. For the exterior, they are generally looking for dents, dings, scratches, window cracks, and excessive tire wear. For the interior, they are looking for tears and stains, especially those that cannot be easily cleaned and repaired.

 

What do I do if my leased vehicle is damaged?

Usually, minor wear and tear damage is not an issue. If there is damage beyond that, we can work with you and provide you with some options.

 

How much do I have to pay in fees if my car is damaged?

That depends on the type and extent of the damage. Reach out to us so we can schedule a time to inspect the vehicle.

 

How much will it cost me if I am over my original contracted miles?

It depends, but we can work with you to give you options to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.

 

Do I have to return my leased vehicle to the dealership where I leased it from?

No. There is no need to return your lease to the original dealership. You can return it to San Leandro Honda. We're a lease return center and can assist you with the return of your leased vehicle.
